Volkswagen ID.2all: the electric for everyone under 25,000 euros

The Volkswagen ID.2all is the new electric compact car designed to be as affordable as a Polo, costing less than 25,000 euros, and as special as a Golf. Unveiled as a world premiere, this car aims to make electric mobility accessible to everyone, becoming a "car for the people."

The final version for European markets will be unveiled in 2025, and will be marketed along with 9 other new electric models by 2026.

Volkswagen also announced that it is working on an additional electric car with a price tag of less than 20,000 euros to expand the range and reach the 80 percent market share "Bev" in Europe.

Reliability, accessibility and quality
The VW ID.2all was designed following three characteristics characteristic of the Volkswagen brand philosophy. Reliability, affordability and quality. Built on the Meb platform , it measures about 4 meters in length and offers superior technologies, software and Adas such as ID.7 and ID.Buzz.

Power and range
With front-wheel drive and an output of 226 hp (166 kW), the range of he ID.2all will be about 450 km thanks to next-generation batteries. The software will allow 10 to 80 percent recharging in about 20 minutes. The top speed is 160 km/h (100 mph), while the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph to 62 mph) will take less than 7 seconds.

The GTX version
Volkswagen plans to launch a higher-performance GTX version of VW ID.2all in the future, following the same strategy adopted for other models in the ID range.
