Lamborghini has announced that tomorrow, March 29, it will unveil its new supercar, known as Lamborghini LB744. This will be the brand's first plug-in hybrid supercar from Sant'Agata Bolognese (Italy) and will feature a new next-generation V12 engine.

A spy video published by youtuber Varryx shows the latest Lamborghini LB744 prototype undergoing road tests near the Italian factory.

The final design is hidden under a thin camouflage coating, but the video shows signs of high voltage on the body, confirming the presence of a hybrid engine.

Driving modes and experiences
The Lamborghini LB744 will offer 13 different driving experiences, with three new dedicated modes: Recharge, Hybrid and Performance, to be combined with the 'City', 'Street', 'Sport' and 'Racing' driving modes. These modes are selectable via two rotors on the redesigned steering wheel.

Performance and special functions
In 'Performance' mode, the powertrain delivers 1015 hp, with control of the hybrid system calibrated to get the most out of performance. In 'Race Recharge' mode, battery recharging can be maximised. Experienced drivers can deactivate the ESC to experience the maximum available power and use the 'launch control' function for a maximum power standing start.
