The rarest Porsche ever is the 935 Street, and it was made in 1983

It was 1983 when Mansour Oijeh, founder of the TAG Group (an acronym for Techniques d'Avant Garde, holding offering services related to motorsports, aviation and watchmaking) requested from Porsche Exclusive a rare special homologation of the Porsche 935.

It was the first car ever produced by that division, and was named Porsche 935 Street.

The base was the Porsche 935 Group 5, a motorsport icon that dominated German championships in the late 1970s and a dream for all car fans.

A model more unique than rare

The first intervention
This was a rebuild from scratch, rather than "tuning official." Starting with the conversion of a Porsche 930 Turbo, the technicians Porsche Exclusive were responsible for replacing the original turbocharged 3.0 with a higher-performance turbocharged 3.3 engine from a Porsche 934.

The basis of this Porsche
The basis was the Porsche 935 "Group 5," an icon of motorsport that dominated German championships in the late 1970s and a dream for all car fans. The car body, which is the most conspicuous part, is the well-known one from Porsche 935, in which the origin from Porsche 911 is well recognizable.

A 380-hp "beast"
The 3.3-liter turbocharged flat-six engine was a marvel, and Mansour Oijeh wanted it in a road-going version with which to whizz quietly, delivering its 380 hp. Controlling its fury was a wheel, suspension and brake kit designed precisely to match performance to the road environment.

Incalculable value
The unique treatment of Porsche 935 Street desired by Mansour Ojjeh then featured an exclusive bright red hue, with a cream-colored leather interior. The car's equipment was completed with the adoption of a sophisticated sound system Clarion and a set of 15-inch Bbs wheels. This example was later sold at auction. Its whereabouts are not known now. But its value is certainly priceless.
