SUPERCAR

Entop Mada 9 Black Swan, the first supercar produced in Afghanistan is reality

It is called Black Swan and has the engine of a Toyota Corolla, but its creator wants to make it more powerful with the help of electricity. We are talking about the 32-year-old Muhammad Raza Ahmadi, CEO of Entop, who has been working for the last five years withAfghanistan Technical Vocational Institute (ATVI) to develop the car.

The design is striking, it is low, streamlined, aggressive and even original, but it is the country of origin that steals all the attention: what we have before our eyes is the Black Swan, the first supercar built in Afghanistan.

Under the extravagant external lines, the Black Swan mounts a much more common four-cylinder 2.0 of Toyotaorigin.

The engine is of the Toyota Corolla
The Black Swan as a Lamborghini Aventador, has crisp styling, motorsport -inspired pushrod suspension, and slim LED lights. But the huge V12 engine of a Lamborghini is not there. Instead, the slim-looking coupe has a modest 1.8-liter engine of a Toyota Corolla mounted in the center of the car, which controls the rear wheels.

But its creator wants to make it more powerful with the help of electricity. We are talking about the 32-year-old Muhammad Raza Ahmadi, CEO of Entop, who has been working for the last five years with theAfghanistan Technical Vocational Institute (ATVI) to develop the car (it took 5 years).

Promotional tool
The Taliban regime clearly uses it as a promotional tool. And although power is currently scarce, its creators hope to soon make it go much faster using electric propulsion. For now a modest 103 kW at 6000 rpm and 173 Nm at 4400 rpm. But the car's chassis is designed to leave room for adding hybrid electric mount or an all-electric powertrain in the future.
