Car of The Year 2023, here are the "magnificent seven" for the conquest of the final title

The list of the last seven candidates for Car of the Year 2023 has been unveiled. To contend for the scepter as happened in the last edition many electric cars.

The most coveted award in the automotive sector is undoubtedly the Car of the Year. The 2022 edition was won by the Kia EV6.

After the shortlist of 27 cars issued a few months ago, now another cut has been made and to go to the final round of Car of the Year 2023 there are only 7 models left: Jeep Avenger, Kia Niro, Nissan Ariya, Peugeot 408, Renault Austral, Subaru Solterra/Toyota bZ4X and Volkswagen ID. Buzz.

The final list is nothing more than the result of the seven most voted. And from now on it's getting serious, because the cars chosen from today to the day of the final, January 13 the Motor Show of Brussels, will have to convince the jury that they are the best car launched this year.

Nissan Ariya is the 100% electric SUV that opens a new phase for the Japanese brand. Nissan Ariya, in fact, will be offered in five different versions for the European market. At the base there is the front-wheel drive one with 63 kWh batteries, flanked by the 87 kWh one. In addition, the e-4orce all-wheel drive variants will also be marketed in the 63 kWh, 87 kWh and 87 kWh Performanceversions.

Peugeot 408 is the first SUV coupé of the French brand.
