Range Rover Evoque 2024: refined design, advanced technology and exclusive style
The Range Rover Evoque comes to model year 2024 with a number of important updates in terms of both aesthetics and technology. The British SUV presents itself to the public with a refined and minimalist design, characterised by details that enhance its exclusivity.
The interior, on the other hand, is more modern and digital, thanks to the large 11.4" curved display, which controls all the car's functions. Unique finishes and customisation options are also available, such as the wool-blend Kvadrat fabric combined with perforated Ultrafabrics with polyurethane fabric inserts and the three variants of the dashboard finish.
Under the bonnet, the Evoque offers a wide range of electrified petrol and diesel powertrains, with the P300 AWD 1.5 turbocharged plug-in hybrid at the top of the range with 309 hp and 540 Nm, capable of travelling up to 62 km on battery power alone.
Model Year 2024 for the British SUV
The Range Rover Evoque gets an update for the 'Model Year 2024' with a restyling that enhances its exclusivity. The exterior design has been retouched with a light hand, retaining the essence of the previous model, but with a few new features.
A new display
The changes are more substantial in the cabin, where the new philosophy already seen on the bigger sisters has been applied. Specifically, the two central screens have been eliminated and replaced by a large 11.4" curved display for the 'Pivi Pro' infotainment system. The automatic transmission control has been placed in the centre console; other physical controls are totally absent.
The infotainment system offers Alexa virtual assistant integration, OTA updates and a simplified, intuitive user interface, which also includes all 'Terrain Response 2' functions for managing Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic and Automatic driving modes.
Interior in style
Special attention has been paid to the finishes and customisation options. For the Evoque, there are unique options such as Kvadrat wool-blend fabric combined with perforated Ultrafabrics with polyurethane fabric inserts. There are also traditional leathers and three new variants for the dashboard finish.
The models available
The Evoque will be offered in the S, Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE and Autobiography variants combined with electrified petrol and diesel engines that have evolved from the outgoing version. Specifically we find the two-litre diesel and petrol P160 1.5 Mild Hybrid 160 hp two-wheel drive and P250 2.0 turbo 249 hp Mild Hybrid AWD.
At the top of the range is the plug-in hybrid P300 AWD 1.5 turbo with 309 hp and 540 Nm, capable of travelling up to 62 km on electric power alone from its 13.9 kWh battery. Homologated emissions for this variant are 31-34 g/km and it takes 6.4 seconds to hit 100 km/h from a standstill, while recharging takes between 30 minutes and two hours depending on the type of socket used.
