SUPERCAR

Lancia Vision Alpha, an electric supercar inspired by the legendary Lancia Stratos

The Vision Alpha is a rendering that presents a car openly inspired by the Lancia Stratos, although without this confirmation the tribute is evident. This soft shape, a double wave from bumper to rear spoiler , compact as was the Stratos, but in a modern key.

Almost a restomod this Vision Alpha, because in any case there are all tech and distinctive elements of today's cars.

Starting from the headlights, obviously LED, cleverly hidden throughout the bonnet to form an arch, as hidden were those of the Stratos, albeit with retractable technology.

The project
The designer Laszlo Varga has published on its Behance profile the project of the Lancia Vision Alpha, a rendering in detail, from sketch to 3D polygons up to the final, which hypothesizes a new supercar of the Italian brand .

A new idea of Stratos
Lancia often used the Greek alphabet to name its cars, so this concept was called Alpha, the first letter of the Greek alphabet that refers to a new beginning. Varga mainly used the glorious Lancia Stratos as a reference but the aim was not to create a modern interpretation of the Lancia Stratos, but to create a new and modern mid-engine sports car that would fit the brand identity.

Smooth lines
The most famous Lancia models have a geometric style that has been deliberately maintained, but softening the design and using slightly more organic and round surfaces. This soft shape, a double wave from bumper to rear spoiler , makes Lancia Vision Alpha as compact as the Stratoswas, but in a modern key.

Which engine?
A sports car, a grand tourer to travel, as evidenced by the Pirelli tires and the rims vintage in aesthetics. And as the chosen setting demonstrates, let's imagine on the Alpine arc.  It has not been known which engine was designed for this supercar. It would be interesting if it were an adaptation of the V6 Nettuno di Maserati, another Italian brand that recently made the wonderful Maserati MC20. But we now know that Lancia is oriented to produce only electric cars from 2027.
