De Tomaso P900 is a hypercar with 888 hp V12 engine

De Tomaso Automobili presented the P900, its new track-only hypercar that will be produced in a limited number of 18 units at a price of $3 million each.

The P900 looks like an evolution of the De Tomaso P72, road and comes with a naturally aspirated V12 that produces 888 hp. Development of the V12 is still ongoing and will continue in 2024.

According to De Tomaso, the V12 has no electrification system, is completely new and can be powered exclusively using synthetic fuel. The historic Italian brand calls it the world's first zero-emission V12.

The gritty-sounding engine will reach 12,300 rpm producing up to 888 hp.

Evocative supercar
The new De Tomaso P900 was also designed to pay homage to the De Tomaso P70 designed by Carroll Shelby. Many of the technologies on board the new hypercar derive directly from motorsport, including the active DRS system embedded in the rear wing.
