The "Nouvel'R" identity
Renault unveils New Arkana. It features the Renault 'Nouvel'R' logo integrated into the radiator grille, in the centre of the Gloss Black fascia connecting the headlights. The whole forms a flat, smooth surface for added elegance. The design of the 'Nouvel'R' logo serves as the basis for the new grille theme of the radiator grille, based on the repetition of lozenges in a deconstructed manner, echoing the central lozenge. The side lines of the individual lozenges stand out visually, thanks to a 3D effect that sculpts them, giving them a certain depth.

Design variants
Depending on the version (Evolution, Techno, Esprit Alpine), the stripes are in Black, Satin Chrome or Black Chrome, for a more accurate and decisive distinction between versions. In addition, the vertical orientation of the grille decoration on the grille is more consistent with that on the lower part of the bumper. The aerodynamic blade, a distinctive element of the identity of the previous R.S. Line and E-Tech Engineered trims, now adorns the bumpers of the top-of-the-range Techno and Esprit Alpine versions. Interior aesthetics
Inside, the seats are a mix of ECO TEP (10 per cent of the materials come from organic sources) and leatherette, with a higher percentage of leatherette than in the previous top-of-the-range R.S. Line and E-Tech Engineered versions. The seats are embellished with blue horizontal stitching and the Alpine logo on the backrest. The seat belts are also distinguished by two blue stripes. The door panels and steering wheel, on the other hand, feature blue-white-red stitching, while the part of the dashboard in front of the front seat passenger is finished in a sober but elegant slate-effect pattern.

Engines and technical design
The New Arkana range consists of three trim versions: Evolution, Techno and Esprit Alpine. From the Evolution version, the offer is enhanced with navigation included as standard in the Renault EASY LINK multimedia system. The latter also becomes wirelessly compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay systems. The digital driver display on the dashboard still has a 7-inch diagonal, but now displays information on a larger surface. The engines available are still the same: E-Tech Full Hybrid 145 hp and petrol mild hybrid 140 and 160 hp.

Driving performance and future prospects
The E-Tech Full Hybrid 145 hp engine gives the New Renault Arkana incomparable driving pleasure: smooth electric drive, dynamism and efficiency. It combines two electric motors (a 36 kW e-motor and an 18 kW HSG (High-Voltage Starter Generator)) and a 69 kW (94 hp) 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol combustion engine, coupled with a clutchless multi-mode smart transmission and a 1.2 kWh battery. Orders for the New Renault Arkana will open during summer 2023, depending on the country.
