Right now, there is an offer of $38,750 for the car in the announcement. And always at the time of writing, this is the 33rd offer, so surely its initial price was much lower.
It is a 1981 DMC-12 DeLorean with 104,182 kilometers. It is equipped with a 2.85-liter rear V6 engine still working with 132 hp and 207 Nm of torque. From the photos we can see that the car is mostly in good condition. Although interiors are clearly dated.

In good condition but...
From the photos we can see that the car is mostly in good condition, but inside there is an obvious defect in one of the pillars that is shown in a photo in detail on eBay. For its time, theDeLorean was a high-tech vehicle par excellence. Apart from the metallic appearance and the doors, The model rolled off the assembly line in Belfast with what at the time was considered innovative equipment, such as air conditioning, car radio, and power windows.
Clearly, theDeLorean had its technical flaws, was heavy and lacked dynamism. But on the other hand, it was unlike any other machine. It was a symbol of the future, just as it is today a symbol of the past. Who will be able to have it?
