Audi unveiled a special version of the RS e-tron GT Project_513/2 2023, produced in only 75 units. This version, developed in collaboration with Audi Exclusive, allows customers to drive a car that recalls the design of the original prototype.
The RS e-tron GT Project_513/2 is the first Audi to feature an exterior with camouflage graphics, usually used to create confusion during prototype testing. The project name, which identifies the product's segment, generation and style, was used to define the combination of this limited edition.
Audi Exclusive used the red and black colors of the original prototypes for the exterior, introducing for the first time the red Audi rings on the front and back.
Audi has unveiled a special version of its electric sedan RS e-tron GT, called Project_513/2. This is a limited series of 75 units for the U.S. market, echoing design of the prototypes used for global testing.
The RS e-tron GT Project_513/2 was developed in collaboration with Audi Exclusive, the department responsible for customizing Audi cars. The goal was to offer a version closer to the original concept of the e-tron GT. The name Project_513/2 comes from the combination of codes that define the segment, generation, and style of the product. This designation is created early in the development process and normally stays confidential.
The distinguishing feature of this limited edition is the camouflage graphics covering the bodywork, with the e-tron lettering in red and black. This is the first Audi model to offer this straight from the factory. In addition to the camouflage graphics, the RS e-tron GT Project_513/2 is distinguished by other exclusive aesthetic elements. The Audi rings on the front and rear are painted red, as are the ceramic brake calipers.
The interior also echoes the exterior colors and elements of design of the special version. The inserts are red and black, as are the air vents, which have been painted the same red as the Audi rings. Other red details can be found on the three-spoke sports steering wheel with steering wheel paddles for regenerative braking control, seat belts and floor mats. The RS sports seats are upholstered in nappa leather with contrast stitching. The dashboard is dominated by the 10.1-inch display MMI touch response 1, which allows you to manage the functions of infotainment and navigation.
The RS e-tron GT Project_513/2 not only mimics the appearance of the prototypes, but also takes up some of their interior details. The carbon fiber inserts on the dashboard are decorated with camouflage graphics that echo those on the exterior. This graphic is achieved by a patented process of partial matting, only a few thousandths of a millimeter deep, made mainly by hand.
The RS e-tron GT Project_513/2 has a rich standard equipment, including RS sport seats in Nappa leather with honeycomb stitching, ventilated and massaging front seats, carbon fiber roof and thresholds, and Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light.
The special version maintains the same performance as the standard RS e-tron GT, Audi's fastest electric sedan. With two electric motors delivering 600 hp (646 hp with overboost), it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. It also has rear-wheel steering, Power Steering Plus assisted steering, and a 93 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 472 km.
